A Vibrant Reception & Finer Picks...

The wedding luncheon of Zhenhao & Emily was a joyous affair. Lots of drinking and 'Yum Same'. Not just alchohol but also lots of very weird mixtures that you hardly imagine. Vineger with wiskey, red vine with soya sauce etc etc were being dished out to the groom!!! By the end of the reception, the young still seem to have bags of energy left in their tank! So here are some of my favourites for the second half of Zhenhao & Emily's wedding...

Love Birds ~ Wedding Of Zhen Hao + Emily

Zhen Hao & Emily are a match made in heaven. A loving couple who just love the idea of getting married! From the first second to the last moments of their wedding celebration were just filled with love and warmth. A very appreciation couple and really made shooting their wedding a fun and sensational experience. 

So a simple tribute to the newly-wed. Wishing them a happy marriage ahead.

Last Dance

Annie & Maurizo's wedding which I shot last month still stayed so vividly at the back of my head in many ways. Probably the games and party-like ambience of their wedding made the wedding a very successful and joyous event for all.

Today, while I was watching the replay of the movie, "Lake House' on tv, the closing song in the movie was the same song which was played in the wedding. The same song Annie & Maurizio took centre stage on their last dance. With only a few guest left remaining at the party late into the night...

A special moment not to be forgotten. A very romantic moment, with the song like sweet lullaby fulling up the evening skies.

Kimchi Time ~ Priceless Moments

Hena & Mara's wedding was a blast. The couple was an interesting match indeed. Hena born in Korea but brought up in Singapore. Mara on the other hand， is a typical Singaporean like myself. One look you know he is hokkien like myself haha...frank and very humourous.

So glad their ROM which was part of their wedding schedule was held at Labrador park; up at the Spa Villa. Always wanted to shoot at the poolside where their solemnization took place. Some of the images from their wedding that I like very much...:>

Definitely one of the stars of the wedding! Hena's family and friends absolutely doted on Crayon! Yes that's her name.

The light was amazing in the morning of the wedding. I hung her gown by the window of her room. It just glows where I stood by the living room.

Though it's an ordinary shot, for a pet lover like myself, this shot meant a great deal. Hena's first instruction in the morning was, "Please take more beautiful pictures of my cat!"

Mara was told to examine the ring before he put onto Hena's finger by the solemnizer.
A very touching moment...

Something special about the couple...their compatibilty is unique yet special. Before the evening reception started, the couple took chance to rest their feet on a bench near by... 

Won My First Photo Contest!

The long awaited AGWPJA Q1 photo contest results are finally out! I am so excited and estatic one of my images came in 18th in the Creative Portrait category. Really this award comes at right time giving me a huge boast in confidence as I continue to improve my craft and focus on creating better images for my clients. 

Taking part in prestigous contest like this, certainly opened my eyes to works of other international wedding photographers. Their images continued to served as a great inspiration in my creative process. 

Will continue to work hard and hopefully this will be one of many more awards I will win haha in the future.

She is from the Phillipines. He is from Italy. Their work and respective careers have from brought them to many parts of the world. But fate brought them to little island Singapore where they fell in love. Engaged to shoot their wedding celebrations was an incredible experience. The proceeding were fun yet romantic. Their family and friends made the wedding a very successful and memorable day for all. Some of the images that I love so much...
